GTA West Transportation Corridor Route Planning and Environmental Assessment Study, Stage 2
June 2019, the Minister of Transportation announced that the government is resuming stage 2 of the Greater Toronto Area West Transportation Corridor Route Planning and Environmental Assessment Study. The EA Study will identify the route, determine interchange locations and complete the preliminary design for a new transportation corridor within the Route Planning Study Area.
The new transportation corridor will include a 400-series highway, transitway and potential goods movement priority features. The GTA West Transportation Corridor is a vital transportation infrastructure that will meet projected growth in both population and employment.

The City of Hamilton is holding a Community Workshop
On Thursday October 10th, 2019 from 6pm to 8pm at St.Thomas The Apostle Parish Hall (715 Centre Road), is holding a community workshop to introduce several studies. Tell them your vision for the area and help us understand the strengths of your community.

Preliminary Design and Class Environmental Assessment Highway 401 Planning Study from Cobourg to Colborne, GWP 4060-11-00 & Highway 401 Nagle Road Interchange Study, GWP 4059-17-00

Ontario Ministry of Transportation is undertaking a Planning, Preliminary Design, and Class Environmental Assessment Study on Highway 401 for the replacement and rehabilitation of structures, interchange modifications, establishing the footprint of future six and eight lanes to ensure an appropriate design of the replacement bridges, and commuter parking lot improvements, from 2km east of Nagle Road to 800m east of Percy Street.

Replacement of the QEW Welland River Bridges and Rehabilitation of Three Structural Culverts (GWP 2430-15-00)
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has retained to undertake the Design-Build of the replacement of the twin Welland River Bridges along the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) and the rehabilitation of three structural culverts, in the city of Niagara Falls within the Niagara Region.

Highways 401 Expansion Project Credit River to Reginal Road 25
A Public Information Centre (PIC), is being held online through the Highway 401 Expansion Project website which will enable you to review and comment on key Project works, the EA process and the associated impacts and mitigation measures.
